From the slopes of Mt. Elgon, the oldest extinct volcano in East Africa, to the low lands of Ukambani in Eastern Kenya, the best of the tropics come to life.

What started off as a 5 acre project in 2020 at the remote low lands of eastern Kenya, has gradually grown to over 100 acres cultivated everyseason  across different regions of the country in Bungoma, Trans Nzoia, Machakos & Kajiado counties.

This geographic diversity enables AgroFirst to offer a diverse product range on a year-round basis, while maintaining a consistent assurance of safe supply, traceability, and quality.

Horticulture production comes at a cost, a cost mostly out of reach for small holders, further complicated by a majority of them being formally unbanked. That not withstanding, commercial banks still consider small holders as high risk & thus access to affordable credit is frustrated.

To empower our growers, we provide input loans in terms of approved
seeds, fertilizers & approved pesticides. All through the production cycle, from land preparation, sowing to harvesting, our technical team additionally offers free agronomic advice & training to ensure compliance to Food Safety, Social & Good Agricultural Practice.

We also provide cash advances to cater for harvesting expenses.

This ensures increased performance & sustainability by reducing their financial strain and building their economic resilience.

With such incentives & interventions, and an assured market for their produce at fair farm gate prices, horticulture has become more attractive to small holders

We all have a responsibility to care for those around us. It is what makes us human.

Responsibility to society is one of our main commitments, and this has never been more relevant than it is today. It’s our continued desire to help others and make the world a better place than it is today.

Both are Charitable Children Institutions within our locality. Collectively they give care to over 300 Orphans and Vulnerable Children.

We make weekly donations of our surplus produce to these institutions, giving our unsold products a meaningful destination.

Through these efforts, we not only reduce food waste but also give hope & put a smile on a child’s face.

Children are our future and every child deserves one.
